I received a Liebster Award from the lovely ladies of Mocchimono, thank you and sorry it took me such a long time♥ Let's get to it!

What is Liebster Award?

It's an award given to bloggers by other bloggers and it exists only in the internet.

Official Rules of Liebster Award

If you have been nominated for The Liebster Award AND YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT, write a blog post about the Liebster award in which you:

Questions I got 

1. Why did you start blogging?

I used to comment a lot on other people blogs and I thought it would be a good way to make new friends since then those people would also know who is the person behind those comments. Tbh most new friends I have made on Facebook or Instagram these days but I still like blogs as a medium.

2. What are you hoping to achieve by blogging?

These days it's mostly for having an archive of my more finished looks and a place to share them with other people who might be interested. And if I can get to know some likeminded people then that would be just perfect! ^^

3. What does your blog's name mean?

It's a joke by my old school friend and I just liked how it sounds, I think it's cute but at the same time not too cute so it will not feel too constricting.

4. If you could pick one country and live there, which country would you pick and why?

Well I'm pretty sure I want to live in Finland for the most of my life, but I also want to live for a year or so in Japan, and after that maybe US.

5. Mention at least 3 guilty pleasures.

I don't believe in guilty pleasures, I think people should enjoy what they enjoy and not feel guilty.

6. Have you ever had a failure in make up?when and why?

Many times, but to mention one, when I was using bottom lashes for the first time and I glued them on top of my own lashes. My eyes started watering like crazy when I was shopping and I had to go rip the lashes off in a fitting room. It was horrible and hurt a lot TTnTT

7. What make up means to you?

Art, self expression, experimenting, being yourself but at the same time something completely different.

8. What are you sucks at?

Many things :'D But to mention one I'd say cooking. I have zero interest in it so never really bothered to learn properly.

9. What kind of personality you want to show in your make up?

It depends on the day, if I want to appear cute, cool, or something else.

10. Have you ever apply make up on someone's face? 

I have! For my guy friend and my boyfriend at least : D It is surprisingly different because of differing eye shapes and everything, you need to adjust all the little details that you are already used to doing in a certain way.

11. When did you last cry? why? 

When I was watching the newest episode of Parasyte! Migi and Shinichi have such a beautiful relatiopnship. Usually I cry out of frustration or touching stories.

And then for the random facts!

1. I am really specific of my butter, it has to be smooth. I hate it if people dig a hole in it, it's like my only house rule when I have visitors.

2. I can lick my left elbow.

3. I'm afraid of butterflies, I think they are super gross.

4. Unlike flies, they are somehow cute.

5. I only started wearing makeup around 5 years ago, before that I had almost no interest in it whatsoever.

6. I have been into cute pink stuff since 2008 when I first visited Japan and found LizLisa, although these days I wear more boyish clothes since in my opinion they go better with my short hair.

7. My favorite animals are dogs, alpacas and sloths.

8. My favorite genre with comics and movies is horror. I also like horror games if someone else is playing them, I am too scared to do it myself ^^'

9. I never broke any bones as a kid, but when I was practicing for a dance move two years ago I fractured my ribs.

10. I don't drink alcohol at all and have never been drunk.

11. My biggest pet peeve with people is being clingy and inability to take care of yourself like an adult.

Super quick post about my look for my big sister's birthday party!

Sorry for being so inactive, I'm in a long distance relationship so most of my weekends I am just hanging out with my boyfriend and feel really lazy to dress up! But probably as the summer is getting nearer I'll get more energy and inspiration to think of coordinates! ♥

♥International Gyaru Lovers Meetup♥

So, last weekend I went to the 4th International Gyaru Lovers Meetup which was held in Frankfurt! I have never been in a meetup outside of Finland so I was excited and nervous at the same time!

Me and Kati arrived to Frankfurt quite early on the Friday morning so it was a really nice surprise that our room was ready and we were able to check in when we got to the hotel! The staff was super nice as well and basically only thing we could complain about was the lack of a full body mirror. If you are looking for a nice hotel in Frankfurt we would recommend Hotel Manhattan!

We put on some makeup and went to explore the city! I opted for some LizLisa and Dreamv cuteness for this purpose. I wasn't super happy with my shoe choice but I wanted to be comfy and they were decent enough looks-wise. I think the shopping street would probably be really pretty during summer, now it was quite grey.

I always know I have a good thing going with someone when they agree to eat at PizzaHut! :'D ilu Kati ♥ When we had eaten Melissa had also arrived and joined us for the rest of the shopping spree. I found lovely new leather boots and shit ton of stuff from Primark. Why can't we have that store here as well? T_T

We got back to the hotel, I styled my wig (which had gotten quite horrible during the trip...) and we went to Hooters for the pre-event, but I had already taken off my wig and lashes so I was looking really basic. Didn't really talk to many people nor took any photos so not much to say about that.

 

So here is my meetup look! I was so stressed about the wig and how it would turn out since I only got to style it the evening before, but I received many compliments and was pretty happy myself as well so I guess you could say it was a success! My shirt and skorts are LizLisa, shoes from Dreamv and I made the hair accessory myself.

I think this happens to me after all the conventions and meetups, but... I wish I was braver and talked with more people. Especially since everyone I talked with seemed genuinely nice people! Hopefully next time I'll be more brave. I did get to know the people from our table though (which was the lower right corner in the picture!) and all 4 girls were so sweet, I was really happy to have landed in the same table with them! ♥

 Unfortunately all the pictures with Melissa and Kati were a bit blurry but I wanted to include this anyways ♥

We also went to the karaoke during the evening (and sung almost everyone out of the room with few people, lol!) and it was way more fun than I expected it to be. We didn't go clubbing since we wanted to get to the airport early enough on Sunday and still had to pack, but I think overall the meetup was a success and the organizers had gone through a huge effort to make it happen, so thank you Kitai and Kyo and everyone else! I hope I can make it next year as well! ^^

Hi everyone, I realized I still had this outfit unposted from last year's November when I went out with my sister and Kati to celebrate equal marriage!

I wanted to wear my lovely mint wig again, and built this simple party outfit around it! Some people wanted to take pictures with me and one lady asked if I could come and do her hair some day, haha~ It was a nice evening but I probably should've opted for comfier shoes for dancing, my feet were killing me afterwards!

Winter♥Princess

Hello all!

Here's my outfit for Gyaru Finland's Xmas Meetup from last Saturday. We went to sit in a cafe, took some pictures and went to a few shops. It was quite a short meetup, I had to leave pretty early to go eat with my boyfriend~ I like shorter meetups though, since the wigs and makeup start to get really uncomfortable after some hours ^^'

I wanted to have something Christmas themed and after coming up with the outfit I realized I needed a head piece to complete the outfit. So inspired by Pin's last year Halloween outfit I decided to have a bow with some decorations on it!

You can't really tell from the pictures but I matched my piercings with my other golden jewelry~ When they have completely healed I'm going to change them to golden rings! ^^

With Pin, I am always amazed with his hair skills, I mean dayummm if that isn't the most gorgeous piece of wig I have ever seen. Until his next creation of course.

Nightmare♥Before♥Christmas

So I realized I never posted my Halloween look(s) here! Sorry about that!

So this was my outfit and make up for our company Halloween party! I won the first place on the "Scariest Costume" category and received lots of compliments, so I guess this look was a success! ^^ I liked it a lot, but can't say the same for my skin, hahaha ^^' But it was still worth it!! And I got a good excuse to wear a sailor uniform!

I also attended another party a week after, and since I wanted to be comfy and not put too much strain on my face I just opted for one small scar, since they are fun to make~ I don't have may pictures, but here's at least one! My friends lovingly called me Russian hooker ♥

Damn I love those shoes but they hurt like hell. The most painful shoes I have ever own ; _ ;

I have some pictures I haven't posted, I'll try to get to it during my Christmas vacation, I have been crazy busy and tired so I haven't had any time to update! I have promised myself that I will cut down on activities next year so I have more time to do stuff that I actually want to do! I have some wigs already waiting in line to be customized and I have some outfit ideas as well! :3 So stay tuned!

♛ Gina Glamour ♛ Wig Tutorial with Winkie Winkie Verkkokauppa

Hello everyone, and sorry for my hiatus!

It was not intentional but stuff kind of kept piling up and made it difficult to dress up. Biggest reason is being busy most of the time, and I also got laser surgery on my eyes last Thursday! I haven't been allowed to wear any makeup, let alone contact lenses, so I have been looking even more basic than I usually do on my normal days ^^' But tomorrow I am getting rid of the protective contact lenses and we have a Gyaru Finland meetup on Saturday, so you can expect some new photos then!

Today I'd like to share with you a wig tutorial I made in collaboration with a Finnish web shop called Winkie Winkie Verkkokauppa ~! They sponsored a wonderful wig for me to customize, it was super fun and the wig almost created itself. If you are interested in purchasing the same wig you can find it here~!

The tutorial is only in Finnish but if you have any questions I'll do my best to answer them!

I wanted to make a whole look around the wig so I decided to do something hime inspired to compliment the hair!

Here you can maybe see the volume a bit better~ It was really easy to create this style with this particular wig since it had volume in all the right places while the ends weren't as thick so I didn't even need to trim it at all!
